The highest cases are usually in teenagers, young adults, and African Americans. Gonorrhea is spread through the penis, vagina, mouth or anus. A person who has been treated for Gonorrhea can be infected again if there is sexual contact with another infected person. Sometimes there are no symptoms or may be mistaken for bladder infections. Burning sensations may occur or unusual discharge, rectal bleeding, sore testicles. Although medication may stop infection it will not reverse any permanent damage done by the disease. If left untreated, Gonorrhea can cause serious health problems. The safest way to prevent Gonorrhea is to abstain from sexual contact or use a condom to reduce the chances of infection.

Hepatitis - this disease involves inflammation of the liver and should be studied in depth; it can be very serious, along with all the other STDs. Hepatitis is caused by a virus and there are types A,B,C,D, & E. It is frequently transmitted by fecal-oral route, by person to person or through consumption of contaminated food or water. The most common types are A, B, & C. For any type of Hepatitis, it is recommend to first get tested and then see a physician.
